The Iowa City West International Choir, conducted by Dr. David Haas, consists of members of the four curricular choirs at Iowa City West High School. The Iowa City West International Choir has had the privilege of sharing music with various parts of the globe, including Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, and Sweden. The ensemble has performed at historically significant venues such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, Austria, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland and, most recently, St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City.
Their Sweden/Norway tour program will consist of a range of music and include works by well-known American composers such as Stephen Paulus, Andre Thomas, Daniel Gawthrop, and Shawn Kirchner.
